West Vincent is served by a seven-member Planning Commission, charged with overseeing the Township’s orderly and sensitive growth. Terms of office are four years and members are appointed by the Board of Supervisors. The group meets once a month in formal session, on the 3rd Thursday, during which subdivision plans are reviewed and general business is attended to. Workshop sessions are held on the 2nd Thursday when needed.

The current Planning Commission Members

The Township’s current zoning and subdivision ordinances were adopted in June 2003. They include provisions for almost every conceivable property and land use. Copies of these ordinances can be purchased at the Township building: $40.00 each for Subdivision and Land Development Ordinance of 1998 and $45.00 each for Zoning Ordinance of 2003.
