If you love trees and want to know more about them, join us for an Autumn Tree ID walk at Opalanie Park, Sunday, October 15 at 1:00 p.m.
Max McCormick will lead us again on a fun walk as we learn more about the woods in autumn. Max shares her knowledge and love of the mysteries and intricate relationships in nature. Max is a certified arborist and a former forestry tech for the USDA. She currently teaches tree identification in Pennsylvania and Ohio.
Max is helping the West Vincent Heritage Tree Program identify our oldest and biggest trees. Please let us know if you have a tree that should be considered a West Vincent Heritage Tree!
