Volunteers Needed!
West Vincent Township is looking for volunteers to share their time and/or expertise in our advisory committees and township events!
Advisory Committees:
There are eight active advisory committees which include environmental, sustainability and clean energy, historical preservation, open space protection, planning and zoning, human relations, and parks and recreation initiatives!
If you are interested in joining a committee, first consider attending a monthly meeting to learn about its mission, goals, and current projects. All monthly advisory committee meetings are open to the public, so you can be participate without formally becoming a committee member.
If you would like to become a committee member, you are asked to attend each monthly meeting, any other collaborative meetings throughout the year and participate in committee projects or events.
All committee meetings with links to agendas and minutes are accessible on the Township Calendar. A list of all agenda and minutes for the current year are posted on each committee page.
Township Projects and Events:
New volunteers are always welcome to help with Township projects and events such as trail clearing, community day planning and prep, litter lifting, and Turkey Trot, including any advisory committee events that need additional helping hands.
Complete our on-line Volunteer Application Form if you are interested in providing your time and expertise in making West Vincent a dynamic place to call home.
